Rhodes Pastoral operates farms in the Boyup Brook region across some 40,000 acres, and are located a good 40 minutes from the nearest ambulance. Having some 20+ workers and regular contractors on our various farms, there is a risk that should someone have a cardiac event the wait for the ambulance may be too late.

Rhodes Pastoral encourages healthy life choices and offers all workers gym membership, however for the occasion when the unexpected happens having access to an AED can be lifesaving.

While several workers are first aid trained, an AED provides early access to defibrillation and increases the likelihood of a good outcome for a patient suffering from a cardiac episode.

The HeartSine AED is easy to use and provides the operator with simple step by step instructions. 

An AED is now located at Fairwinds and Karana.
