I was raised on cattle/cropping farm where my father worked all through my childhood. Under his guidance I developed a keen interest in these areas of agriculture.
After attending years 11 and 12 at Narrogin Agricultural College I gained employment with Landmark in a merchandise role, not wanting to be confined to an office I ventured into the automotive industry a year later and started my Mechanical apprenticeship in my hometown of Darkan. Once I completed this I then spent the next couple of years in Lake Grace and Kojonup doing various jobs such as CBH, mechanics and a cattle feedlot.
I then found myself spending the next 9 years in Pilbara working on mine sites run by BHP and Rio Tinto as a tyre fitter and supervisor.
After working in the mines, I once again found myself back in agriculture working for a family friend in Darkan then on a broadacre farm near Yuna over the next 2.5 years.
I then received the opportunity to work at Rhodes Pastoral mid 2021 on the cropping area of the farm. In early 2024 I was then asked to run the cropping program alongside of Stuart Uren. Together we have continued what our predecessors have built, whilst improving productivity and efficiency which is our focus. Having settled in Boyup Brook with my partner and two daughters I look forward to a long career with the company.
