Rhodes Pastoral has successfully expanded its Boree Park stock with the successful purchase of Western Australia’s oldest White Suffolk stud, Ida Vale stud’s ewe flock.

Ida Vale Stud was founded in 1985, with a strong reputation for producing robust sheep with a long history of carefully selected genetic breeding.

Rhodes Pastoral goal is to produce even, uncomplicated, fast-growing rams that when joined with cull merinos create a quality product. Rhodes Pastoral is looking to expand operations and the purchase of Ida Vale stock adds to the long-term goal. We will continue to build on the genetic gain that Ida Vale have been successfully breeding.

Our highly experienced Stud Manager Michael Potter who has been successfully running our Boree Park stud over the past five years. This acquisition will enable us to continue to provide quality stock to customers.
